Subleagues

It's the same old story. You enter a fantasy sports competition, and then, due to either poor judgement or bad luck, you find after a couple of weeks/months that you are somewhere in mid-table obscurity. At this point you lose interest and forget about it until next year. Well, the answer to this is subleagues. You can set up a subleague for you and your friends/colleagues and then compete directly against them (you will still be entered in the main league).

Your team can be entered in as many subleagues as you like, so no getting out of the challenge of your friends by saying that you are already in a subleague at work!

Creating and Joining Subleagues

To create a subleague, go to your team page (by clicking on "My Team" from the menu bar on the left of the screen). At the botton of the screen there is a section containing information about any subleagues you have already joined, and well as links to create and join a sub league. To create/join a subleague, just follow the relevent link.

To create a subleague you will need to enter a name for the subleague and a username and password that other people can use to join the subleague. Click on the "Create" button and the subleague should be created. Immediately after the subleague has been created, you will be the only team entered in it. Now, unless you want to guarantee winning, you should let anyone else you want to participate in your subleague (and who has entered a team in the main competition) know the username and password.

To join a subleague, you need a username and password (see above). Once you have this information, select the join subleague link from your team page and enter the username and password. You should now be a member of that subleague.

Viewing a Subleague

To view the subleague, go to your team page and click on the name of the subleague you wish to view.
